Skellywave

My entry for CGA Gamejam 2026. 3 weeks in the making. Will run on 8088 at 4.77mhz but 10mhz recommended. Perfectly smooth on Pocket 8086 (NEC V30 at 10mhz). CGA and beeper sound.

A simple top down maze where you are chased by skellies, shoot daggers, collect gems to reveal the door and it just goes forever with successive difficulty and a final empty room. Then wraps around :)

Instructions:

Use either arrows or WA(S/X)D and SPACE for fire. Escape to quit.

Kill a skelly and small chance to get:

* chicken for health (max HP 8)

* power up to fire faster (max power 4)

Skellies comes in three varieties:

* White (HP 1)

* Cyan (HP 2)

* Bloody (HP 3)
